Becoming a Member of AHAA ~ Association for Healing Arts & Artisans:
Becoming a member of AHAA is a way to celebrate and participate in our holistic community. Our community, made up of a very diverse group of practitioners, crafters and Earth stewards, has one major thing in common.  All of us have a strong desire to help  – whether people, animals or planet - we are all here to help make this a better and healthier world.

 

Membership Benefits:
This website and our community are evolving. Your questions and ideas are most welcome.  Your participation is appreciated.  

  • Belong to a supportive community of like-minded people.  As members, we support each other by sending our healing energy into the world ~ as a community and individually. Opportunities to network and market your business are offered through AHAA’s website & free monthly newsletter.

  • Directory - organized by modality.  As a member, you get a directory listing that includes your photo/logo (.jpg format please); your name, modality and contact information; up to 50 words describing your business/practice; in addition, your ad can be listed in up to 3 modalities/categories without extra charge.  
    • This important benefit alone is well worth the price of membership.
    • The Directory/Referral service will be promoted at AHAA events, in the AHAA newsletter, and all members are encouraged to promote the directory through their businesses too. (Post cards with info about the website will be provided to hand out to your clients, friends and family.)
  • Advertising Opportunities in AHAA’s free newsletter and on the website side bars.
    • These ads are a mere fraction of the cost of other advertising.
  • Coupon Page - If you like to give coupons to help invite in new clients or customers, we have a page just for that.
    • The coupon page will be mentioned in the monthly newsletter as reminder to our subscribers.

The website has many additional features for everyone in the community, which makes it a visible place for business ads, posting articles of interest, etc.

  • Community Calendar - There are many offerings in our local area to help us learn more about the mind/body/spirit connection, nutrition, wellness, metaphysics, green living, conscious music and many other important and fascinating subjects.  Now there will be a place where all of our local teachers of these subjects can be found in one place.  All member/practitioners will have access to this calendar to post their classes, events and gatherings that are relevant to the scope of this website. 
    • Of course any AHAA sponsored events will also be found on this community calendar.)
  • Community Sharing – Facebook Page - This is a forum that allows our community, general public and member/practitioners, to talk about, ask questions and share experiences about the mind/body/spirit connection, holistic healthcare, green living and other relative topics.
  • The Library - The Library will contain articles, audio and video content in a wide variety of categories consistent with our practitioner category list. Practitioners are encouraged to submit material to be added to The Library. (All submissions are subject to approval. Contact us for further info.)
  • Links To Other Holistic Communities - for business services, websites and community calendars in other areas, etc.
    • Newsletter - AHAA offers a Monthly Newsletter which is intended to inform our readers and extend our advertising reach.  Here AHAA offers further benefits to our members:
      • Members are invited to submit articles for the newsletter.  (All articles subject to approval – contact us for more information.)
      • As a member, you will have access to low cost ad opportunities.
    • AHAA offers a nice variety of conscious entertainment & holistically educational programs & events. These events most often feature local healers, teachers and entertainers. 
      • We are especially pleased to sponsor practitioners from our membership and assist in giving voice to what you contribute to our community.  Special AHmbiance rental rates will be extended to AHAA members.
      • At the beginning of each AHAA event, one free admission will be gifted to an AHAA member in a random drawing.

     


    Membership Fees:

    • $100.00/year

    The Directory Listing will include a picture or logo of your choice (all graphics must be in .jpg or .gif format); contact information including website link; and up to 50 words to describe your practice, business and/or products. (If you will need more space than this, please contact us for a quote).

     



    Other Services & Fees:

    • Your Own Web Page - Members may also have their own web page on this site. This is an option for those who do not have their own website. With this option, there will be a link to your page on your directory ad and you may use the webpage address on your business cards or other printed materials. You can include up to five (5) pictures or graphics on your page.
      • For an additional $10.00/month + $45 one time set up fee = $165 initial cost, $120/year afterwards.  (Membership fee of $120 is additional.)
    • Coupons - $25/mth for each coupon. This is a onetime fee that applies to each new coupon.
    • AHAA Monthly Newsletter Ads - $25 per ad/month
    • AHmbiance Rental - special member rate of $15/hr
      (Non-member rate = $20/hr)
    • Help with Ad Design - $35.00/hr
    • Changes to an existing directory ad - $10 per instance

    Other Ad Specifications:

    • All ads must be submitted by the 15th of each month to be on-line by the beginning of the following month.
    • All graphics, pictures or logos must be submitted in .jpg or .gif format.
    • Ad text to be submitted in the body of an e-mail, or in Word document format.
